What is C2C trading?
In some regions, C2C trading is also referred to as 'peer to peer' trading. Users can directly buy and sell cryptocurrencies through C2C platforms, trading platforms, or markets. As facilitators of the trading, C2C platforms provide channels for buyers and sellers to publish their quotes. Meanwhile, Online Digital Asset Custody Services ensure that digital assets are securely and promptly delivered during the execution of the transactions.
Are the quotes seen in the C2C market provided by JuCoin?
The quotes displayed in the C2C market are not provided by JuCoin. JuCoin merely facilitates the C2C trading platform, and the quotes are provided by individual users.
How does JuCoin protect C2C traders?
All online transactions are under custody protection. After an ad is posted, the corresponding amount of cryptocurrency is automatically reserved from the seller's funds. This means that if the seller fails to release the cryptocurrency, JuCoin's customer service can use the reserved cryptocurrency to pay the buyer. On the other hand, sellers should not release cryptocurrency until they have confirmed receipt of payment from the buyer. Please note that some payment methods used by buyers may not support instant payments, and there may be a risk of payment reversal.
Can you trade without completing KYC verification? What do you need to do before trading on the C2C platform?
All JuCoin users are required to complete KYC verification before they use JuCoin's products and services, including C2C trading. Please refer to 'How to complete KYC verification'. Additionally, before starting C2C trading, you must enable mobile verification and at least one form of 2FA authentication (email, Google Authenticator, or security key) in the 'Security Center'.
